What’s included in the hire?

+ The cart (obviously!)

+ Award-winning gelato/sorbets of your choice. These come in 5L tubs.

We can serve up to 4 flavours at a time.

The quantity is determined by your number of guests.

As a guide, 20L (4 x 5L tubs) supplies enough double-scoop servings for 100 people.

+Waffle cones, tubs & spoons, serviettes.

+Transportation of the cart (within 30km of Heretaunga) to and from your venue in an enclosed trailer.

+Friendly service for 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on your number of guests.

How long is the hire?

For bookings of 100 or more, service is 2 hours.

For bookings of less than 100, service is 1.5 hours.

This is negotiable however, so please enquire.

How big is it?

The body is 130cm wide, 140cm tall and 180cm long.

With the canopy attached 130cm wide, 210cm tall and 190cm long.

It weighs 250kg.

How is it powered?

By electricity, so there will need to be a standard power point within proximity. We will bring a 25m extension cord.

What’s the cost?

The cost for 100 people is $850. This includes the delivered cart (within 30kms of Heretaunga), 2 hours of friendly service, double scoop gelato/sorbets, cones/tubs etc.

Please note we cater for a MINIMUM of 50 people.

Distances over 30km are charged at $20 per 10km.

A 25% deposit confirms your booking, with the balance due 2 weeks prior to your event.

Heck, yes!

How far out of Welly do you go?

Up to and including Otaki, and Masterton.

Can it go anywhere?

Almost…it can go anywhere that has trailer-friendly access. Very steep roads, especially rural ones, may not work…we will assess prior to booking.

The cart itself will need to be situated on flat and firm ground. At 250kg, it is likely to get stuck if the ground is soft or muddy.

It is best parked in a sheltered spot where possible, as the wind and sun can effect the thermostat.

Is there a bond?

Nope. As the cart will be in our care from start to finish, there is no bond.
